Procedure for Equipment Blowouts Inc. Warranty Return Phones:
In the event a unit requires repair under Equipment Blowouts Inc. "warranty" the following procedures need to be followed:
- Equipment Blowouts Inc. will validate the handset as under the warranty period and issue an RMA number to be used for the return
- Warranty returns arrive at Equipment Blowouts Inc.
- Warranty claims receives phones into the database.
- The phones are put into warranty returns bins.
- The Phone are then issued to a technician.
- Technicians begin work on phones.
- 6.1 If phones are abused, out of warranty, or have liquid damage these phones are given back to the Warranty Claims department with corresponding reason code for the phone not being repaired. These phones are then sent back to the customer with a form stating the reason the phone wasn't repaired.
- Upon completion of repairs.
- Phones are then sent to Quality Control.
- QC passes or fails each phone accordingly.
- Phones that fail QC are returned to the appropriate Technician who fixes the phone in a timely fashion and returns the phone to QC for testing.
- Phones are brought from QC back to the Warranty claims department so that the Warranty Claims team can include any accessories that may have come in with a specific phone.
- Phones and pick tickets are sent to the shipping department.
- Phones are then prepared for shipping.
Exceptions to the Warranty:
The warranty will not cover the following items:
- Defects or damage resulting from the use of the product in any manner other than its intended and customary use.
- Defects or damage from misuse, accidents or negligence.
- Defects or damage resulting from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, adjustment, or any alteration or modification of any kind.
- Products disassembled or repaired in such a manner as to adversely affect the performance or prevent adequate inspection and testing to verify the claim.
- Products that have the serial number altered or removed.
- Units that have had the warranty sticker removed, destroyed, torn, or altered in any way.
- Defects or damage due to spills or liquid damage.
- All plastic surfaces and all other externally exposed parts that are scratched or damaged due to the user's normal use.
- All LCD and LED displays that are cracked and/or physically damaged.
